If you are upgrading to a 2009 Carrera S from an old 997S, know that they have made the former tight,lowered suspension an option. The new S has been softened to accomodate those that did not like the stiffer ride of the old S. The problem I found is that the new S understeers and feels unstable in quick, hard turns. After driving the one with the P17 suspension package, however, all is well.

Awesome. It looks like Porsche is back on track with the mpg vs performance ratio. Definitely in the top 5 for my next vehicle choice.
