Alan has been a member of the Roadfly team since 1999, when his website bimmer.org was purchased by Charlie Romero’s Jump Media Group. When Charlie wants to feel less nerdy, he calls Alan, who writes code for fun.
Alan likes to autocross, having done so in a collection of Lotuses among other cars. He’s handy with a wrench, having owned a 1968 Jag E-Type 4.2, and was named “BMW Z3 Enthusiast of the Year” in 1999. He’s also a home theater nerd, and he skis.
