Selling my baby and daily driver of the last 5 years! This is a 5speed of course. FRESH INSPECTION, COLD A/C..... It's blue with a tan 535Is real leather interior, with the REAL sport seats that grip you. The seats are in pretty darn good condition too. These alone are probably worth 400 - 600. These are real leather seats, not the fake leather that the 528e's come with. I have the seats covered with sheepskins. I haven't but need to include pictures of the interior. Installed a PERFORMANCE CHIP that claims a 22-24 increase in horsepower. You can feel a difference, plus it increases the redline. And yes, you can use REGULAR UNLEADED. If you are interested in getting into a classic E28, with their typical bulletproof engines and trannys, this is one that i can't sell for much b/c of her looks, but the important work has been done! Here's why I love these cars: I get 28 - 30 MPG, as measured by filling up and checking # of miles gone, range on a tank is 400+ miles. Because of their gearing, these cars are great highway cars, but they also have GREAT torque for pickup. Sporty and punchy, but great on gas and on the highway. Huge trunk, HUGE SUNROOF, which doesn't leak either! In my opinion, BMW hit it just right with this car. I love this car, but I've bought an SUV to accomodate all my hobbies. It's time to let her go and I've spent enough on her. I've had this car serviced only by Sports & Imports in Chesapeake, and as you can imagine, I've had ALOT done to it, including, timing belt, radiator, thermosat, hoses, starter, DRIVESHAFT, HEATER BLOWER MOTOR, rear subframe bushings, rear diff mount, bushings in front end, NEW CLUTCH AND SHIFTER BUSHINGS just LAST FALL, rear main seal, SI BOARD, new odometer gears, seals around taillights, new cold start injector solved a common hot start problem. Brakes, muffler, etc. Blinker switch, etc. I've installed all the little interior lights too, b/c I love when the lights in the instrumentation work. Lots of other things too. The prior owner did (I don't have receipts for though) sunroof motor, fuel injectors, etc. Probably OVER $8000 in REPAIRS! ouch. If you're thinking of buying one of these, CALL ME, and I'll tell you all the repair items you should be looking for that s/b done. Sometimes a lower mileage 528e looks better, but is a repair nightmare waiting to happen. Get a car that someone has driven daily. She runs ,and idles like a champ. No smoking, nothing. Even, smooth, great on the highway, no stalling or anything. Her mileage is somewhat unknown, but it's over 200,000, probably well over. Since I replaced the odo, it works, but it isn't accurate to the car. What this car isn't: pretty. It could use a paint job, and in the interior, the dash is cracked, as a lot of these are. I would get new rims for it, b/c rims make these cars. 16inch rims. But don't be fooled, this is a 23 year old car, and it does look it! What else this car needs: I think it could use an ignition switch, let's see, I'd put a sport suspension in it and I'd def get new rims. Paint job for cosmetic. You have to lock it from the passenger side. Otherwise, most everything else works. runs, heat/ a/c, etc. These Bimmers have great fundamentals, tranny and engine, but it's still an old car and will have old car problems! If you're looking for a car for your little girl, don't buy this. But if you just like old Bimmers or maybe have a teenage son, who's a little mechanical, then I'd consider it. It's quick and economical, a bit of a hobby car, can look cool with rims, and isn't so fast it'll get him, or you, into trouble. It's got some mileage, but it runs very well, and it's had a lot of expensive foundational work done. CALL MARK at 757 613 8730. I'll be honest w/ this car. Make me an offer!
