Up for sale is my Dad's beloved 1995 540i. My pops is the second owner. He bought the car in 1998 from Chapman BMW Scottsdale. The car has the Alusil block which means the engine won't self destruct like the earlier Nikasil block e34 540i's.
This car is in great shape. The paint still shines and the leather interior is near perfect. 90% of the e34 and e32's I see are torn up inside...this is not the case with this car. My Dad drove this car from his garage at home to his parking garage at work for the last 11 years so the car has spent the majority of it's life unexposed to the sun.
All maintenance has been performed by Bavarian Motors at 16th street and Thomas. My Dad spared no expense maintaining this car. The only reason he is selling is because he bought a low mileage 2003 540i sport.
Known issues:
-Car just started leaking what I believe is power steering fluid.
-Car has an AC leak...AC just stopped working
-Car has the airbag light on.
-KBB Private party value is $5,500.00 in good condition.
-KBB Trade in value is $3,825.00 in good condition.
-There are 10 1995 540's within 500 miles of Phoenix in the auto trader with an average price of $5,619.00
I'm asking $4,800.00 OBO.
