*** WILL UPDATE AD TO INCLUDE PICS WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS *** I bought this beautiful car from the original owner in Lexington, KY while I was living in Los Angeles, CA. I recently moved to New York, NY and have decided to sell the car because I don't need a car in NYC so I can't justify the insurance and parking expense here. I have loved owning and driving this car and hope to find a good new home for her on Roadfly. This ad wil be updated in the next couple of weeks with pictures -- right now I am swamped with work but wanted to start the process of finding a buyer while she's getting a good detailing and inspection. She is fully loaded with every available factory option I am aware of except EDC, and also has the following upgrades: - BMW Factory OEM "Low Slung M Sports Suspension" (f&r sway bars, f&r springs and rear SLS - these are all Euro market factory BMW parts I obtained through Crevier BMW as this was not originally offered in the US variant) - Bilstein Sports in the front - Dinan Engine + Transmission Chips, Exhaust - BMW Traffic Pro Head Unit w/Nav (original unit also included) - SmartTire II TPMS - BMW Factory Euro "Smileys" - BavAuto Clear Corner Front and Front-Side Blinkers - Aftermarket (eBay) Clear Corner Tail Lights - Brembo Slotted Rotors, f&r - BMW Factory 3.73 LSD taken from E34 M5 Cosmetically, she is in very good condition, especially for her age. Her Carfax should still be clean as I have had no accidents or bodywork and my PPI revealed no evidence of same. There are the typical rock/stone chips toward the front of the hood, approximately two small door dings and some minor blemishes on the rear bumper from careless parallel parking by other cars. The interior does not show its age or mileage except for the center console wooden piece by the gear-shift lever, which is a bit faded and has a crack. Mechanically, she is in excellent condition. The only issues as far as I can tell are, there is a little play/slop in the steering and she needs new tires. Currently, she's getting a complete detail and full mechanical inspection so I will pass on those findings when I get her back. The original owner provided some but not many service records. I hired the local BIMRS shop in Lexington to do a PPI before I bought her, and they immediately recognized her since the owner had been servicing her there since she went out of warranty. According to them, he had spared no expense and they knew the car well to be in excellent condition. I have all service records for the work I've since had done -- besides the upgrades/modifications listed earlier -- including: intake manifold gaskets, oil pan gasket, front suspension (upper arms, lower arms, tie rods, etc.), O2 sensors, valve cover gaskets, master cylinder, fan clutch, water pump, thermostat, rear window shade motor and other minor issues. All scheduled maintenance has been performed and I have been running fully synthetic fluids since taking ownership -- Mobil 1 in the engine and Redline in the transmission and differential. She's been with me in NYC since March of 2008. I kept the registration in CA because I did not know until recently whether or not I would be staying here. The title is free and clear in my name. The CA registration expires at the end of November and I cannot renew it from here nor will I re-register in NY since I'm selling the car. With the perfect, gorgeous color combo of black on black, this is as powerful, fast and tight handling a V12 E32 you can have, without getting into extensive aftermarket modifications. She pulls very strong, carves corners like a much lighter car and does not burn or leak oil. Basically, if you are looking for the last model year of the E32 in V12 fully loaded (except EDC) with very tasteful performance upgrades to use as a very well cared for daily driver in great condition and low mileage for its age, your search is over. (I have loved the ride with the modifications but if you plan to drive on rough roads regularly, some may find it too stiff.) KBB private party value says $4,765 for good condition and $5,265 for excellent. I'm asking $5,000 considering all the upgrades, which in parts alone cost about $6k ($3k suspension, $2k Dinan pieces, etc.) For what it's worth, I'm a BMWCCA member and feel free to ask around about me or see my posts in the E31 forum. I'm happy to answer any questions via e-mail and make the car available for test drive and PPI but ONLY FOR SERIOUS BUYERS, please. Thanks very much. Rey *** PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME FOR PHOTOS -- THEY WILL BE POSTED AS SOON AS I GET THE CAR BACK FROM THE DETAILING. *** |
