This '87 has been my daily driver for the last 5 years, but it's been slowly going downhill, and neither my skills nor my wallet were really up to keeping it as well maintained as it deserved, so I've replaced it with something substantially newer. It's in good enough shape, though, to make a nice restoration project that you don't have to tear down to the frame.

I charged the battery yesterday cause it's been on the driveway for a month, but it still started on the first turn, and runs... acceptably. The 5 speed is in great shape; all synchros work fine.

You could drive this around while you work on it, but there are a couple of things you'll want to fix pretty immediately:

It will stall every once in a blue moon; it *usually* starts right back up; I suspect a failing CPS sensor or connector. When you start it, you have to wait 45 seconds to go from On to Start or it will reliably not want to start; I suspect a fuel pressure problem, which might just be a filter; I have a still-capped spare, in addition to a couple Mann oil filter cartridges, and a couple spare ECUs, if I can locate them. And it will need struts and a right rear CV.

I replaced the TRX wheels with 16x7s from a 735; it has Yoko AS 430 tires on all four corners; probably about 60% tread remaining, though one is almost new (road hazard). I also have all 5 original TRX wheels and tires, and the used Michelins that came off the 7er wheels. You can have any combination of these that you want, though the TRX tires (which are still mounted) are showing belts.

There are a few rust spots around wheel arches and the sunroof, and the top paint's kinda worn out. It has never hit anything, at all, though; all factory panels with the original VIN stickers, and factory glass, so far as I can see.

Toolkit's about half populated.

Needs hood struts, and the trunk springs reconnected.

I would *not* recommend this for someone who isn't equipped and inclined to work on it some; while *I* was willing to tolerate it, you shouldn't be.

For all that, though, it's still a sixer, and I suspect it will make someone a loving wife. Like loving wives, though, it requires investment, and like most people, the economy's got me beat *almost* to death.

Located on the north side of St Pete; while you can probably drive it home within 100 miles, I've transferred it's tag to my new car, so you'll have to deal with that. Title's clean, no salvage or liens.

For serious buyers I can itemize for you everything that needs to be done to it, but it's pretty painful, so I don't wanna do it too much. :-}

Oh, no: the A/C is *not* working right now. Good thing it's NovemberDecember, huh?
