|1999 BMW M Coupe, Cosmos Black / Black leather. 63,506 miles.
Autocheck is 91/91 - perfect. Last recorded mileage 54,321.
Excellent condition inside and out, no dings/paintwork. Always garaged. All panels have original VIN stickers. Has a small crack in the front bumper below the driver side headlight (pictured) from the previous owner - never felt the need to repair/refinish as it is minor, just want to be upfront. Originally a Texas car, 2nd owner was the manager of Bimmers R Us in St. Louis. I am the 3rd owner and bought the car in 2008 with 54k miles. Have the records from original owner. Has 6-disc changer and the power sunroof.
I paid a premium (considerably more than the reserve) as it was a no-stories car. All the panels match, interior is clean, no dings etc. Just inspected the subframe / differential mount and all is well - zero issues.
Why am I selling? I found another M Coupe I would like to purchase and while I would like to have them both, thats just not possible. I must sell this car first before moving forward. If it does not work out I am happy to keep my car, it has been perfect and has needed nothing. All of the items I have replaced have been preventative or for performance:
54k: Trans/diff fluid swap – Amsoil, New guibo, butt-strut, Rogue Engineering RSM’s, Powerflex subframe bushings, Stoptech brake lines, Z3 3.0 clutch line, Amsoil 5W40
55k: M stitched shift/parking brake boots. Polished Whalen Motorsports knob. Pulled off the rear wiper and it now has a plug color matched in its place. (Have wiper)
56k: Air filter, Spark plugs (Iridium NGKs), fuel filter, TC Kline Single Adj. coilvers, 500F / 600R, TC Kline camber plates, Alignment
57k: Oil change, Amsoil 5W40
60k: Oil change, Amsoil 5W40
61k: Ireland radiator, Stewart waterpump, SPAL fan/relay, 80c tstat and aluminum housing, lower temp fan switch, new coolant hoses, coolant flush / BMW Blue, new expansion tank, Conforti air intake with amsoil filter, new belts, flushed power steering fluid, Castrol ATF. Deleted stock mechanical fan.
61,5k: Ireland oil cooler cap, VPD oil cooler, Earls oil thermostat, Earls fittings/lines
62k: New Zimmerman rotors on all 4 corners, Front Pagid Sport pads. Rears are OEM pads. 10mm Rogue Engineering spacer up front, Vorshlag bullet-nose 90mm studs with black lug nuts. Rear has 15mm spacer with longer black bolts.
63,5k: Rogue engineering trans mounts
Front tires are OK but the rears are near the wear bars. We could work something out on that I'm sure. I haven't driven it much due to the weather and I was planning on getting 18's so I hadn't really worried about it yet. Leatherique used on the interior and P21S on the exterior.
