| 1982 BMW 633csi 5spd, Incredibly Clean Original Car, For Sale In New York
You are viewing my 1982 BMW 633csi. I am the second owner of the car. Originally from Arizona, the car was transported to Manhattan in 2002 where I purchased it 6 years ago.
This car is truly for the BMW collector enthusiast. It has been garaged, covered and pampered for its entire life. For the past 10 years, it has been insured with collector car status and used as a limited mileage weekend beach trip car. It has never been performance modified or gone through a restoration to bring it back to life from a neglected ownership.
The new owner of the car will not be disappointed. This is an excellent example of the classic 6 series big coupe. Read on for a more detailed description of the overall condition of the car.
The car is in bone stock original condition. It has never been involved in any sort of accident. There is no rust through on any part of the chassis or sheet metal structure, all the body panels are exceptionally straight and are in perfect alignment. There are very few blemishes from daily use such as parking dings and road paint chips. The Sahara Beige paint finish is all original still takes a great shine.
The interior is in fantastic condition. There are no rips, open seams or tears on the leather sport comfort seats front and rear. The carpet is in excellent condition with the exception of the piece on the rear speaker deck that has sun faded. The dash/instrument panel is excellent, but (not uncommon) there are hairline stress cracks on the top surface of the dash panel. All gauges are in working condition, upgraded stereo and electric antenna work, fans, windows and heat work as well. The AC system is fully charged and blows ice cold air.
There are now 105,000 miles on the odometer. The engine starts right up with no smoke or oil consumption. It idles smoothly with no unusual noises. Oil pressure holds steady and high when fully warmed up. The car runs and drives very well. The 5 speed transmission engages smoothly and quietly in all gears. Suspension and steering are very solid with no rattles or wheel shimmy.
