| I'm selling my 1987 325ic. 127K Miles. "Delphin" gray, pearl beige interior. The car is in good condition overall, and drives and sounds like it should. The mechanicals are good. The clutch, throwout bearing, pressure plate, clutch actuator, water pump, timing belt, timing chain tensioner, fuel pump, and guibo were all changed at 100k. 15" Konig wheels with meatier Kuhmo tires were put on the car around 100k and the front shocks were replaced with Bilsteins around 115k. The brakes were replaced around 110k with Ireland Engineering's brake kit, which includes four premium slotted rotors and ceramic pads. The A/C doesn't hold a charge for more than a month. I suspect the leak can be fixed by replacing the hoses, but nonetheless the compressor works well and the air blows very cold when the system is charged. The car doesn't appear to have any rust issues as it has spent its life in California or Nevada. The exhaust has no leaks and sounds great. Exterior is fair-- paint is glossy, the body is straight, but it shows an occasional ding or two, including a more noticeable one under the lower passenger door trim. The car must've been involved in a fender bender at some point in its life because the drivers' side fender is misaligned by about an eighth of an inch to the grille. The pin striping on the driver's side fender and the lower door trim pieces on both doors are missing. The tan manual top was replaced before I acquired the car but has frayed slightly where the passenger quarter window meets the seal. However, the seals are all good and the window is clear. The interior is nice. The original front sport seats were replaced at 100,000 miles. The driver's side shows a little wear on the bolsters, but they aren't torn. The passenger side is perfect. The lower portion of the back seat has split and it appears someone has attempted to sew the leather back together. The upper portion of the rear seat isn't split at the top like most convertibles.. I've also installed rear headrests which, in my opinion, give the interior a more plush look. The car also has an Alpine stereo (with iPod adapter) that sounds great. The car is located in Pahrump, NV, about 60 miles northwest of Las Vegas. The car is available for pick up (a nice excuse to come to Vegas) or shipping arrangements can be made at buyer's expense. Please- no sales to Nigeria. Pics can be found at: http://s828.photobucket.com/albums/zz208/s_hemphill/?action=view¤t=5ea372ae.pbw Thanks for looking. |
