This is my 97 M3. It's a rarer combination than usual; luxury package with silver exterior and mulberry interior, 5 speed manual. Also has a Dinan muffler, cold air intake, and Stage 2 engine software.
Over the past 3 1/2 years years, this car has been dependable for me, and I've done y best to treat is as such; synthetic oil only (Mobil 1 15w50), 93 octane fuel, and tires every 40,000 miles. I've also inspected the cooling system; no cracks or wear points around the hoses, radiator neck, or expansion tanks.
That all said, the car has 194k miles on it; there are some warts. The driers side seat has a tear and the AC system needs frequent charging (makes cool air when charged). That said, this is the perfect choice to make a dedicated track car.
