| After enjoying it for the past 4 years I have decided to sell my 88 M3 to make room for a new toy. This car has spent it’s whole life in the Pacific NW. It was originally purchased from Roth BMW in Portland. I was able to speak with the original owner who said most of the car’s miles were on the highway from commuting between Portland and Seattle. I purchased the car from the 2nd owner who took meticulous care of the car, using only synthedic fluids throughout. I continued this tradition, using Redline oil every 3K miles and waxing with Zymol twice a year. Being a local Portland BMWACA club member, I have shown the car at many local club events and historic car shows. 1988 E30 M3 2.3L White/black interior 173K miles > Following is a list of improvements and recent repairs: -Complete Ground Control coilover suspension with 650/750 springs and Koni shocks. -Adjustable Ground Control camber plates -Front strut brace -Reconditioned BBS RS wheels -Custom built E30 M3 VSR twin cat exhaust with Stromung muffler -New Sachs clutch -All new rotors and Hawk brake pads -New front hubs/bearings -New heater core The car has zero rust and to my knowledge has never been repaired. Mechanically the car runs very well with no oil usage. I recently had a local shop conduct the very detailed Porsche club vehicle inspection and the only need was the repair of a front wheel bearing.
