| Get ready to cruise the spring! Car is in excellent shape. I purchased it from a private party in 5/08, with just under 30K miles. It came with all factory options, except GPS. Options include M-Sport suspension (lowered), heated seats, rain sensing wipers, power top, xenon lights, premium sound system, and so on.
New Stuff: It has a new set of Continental Extreme Contact 225/45/17 tires with less than 50 miles on them. It had a proper four wheel alignment at a German specialty shop (Auto Haus in Yorktown, VA) – corners were weighted, seats were weighted, etc. Rear center brake light is new (they tend to crack on these cars). Windshield trim and cowl trim pieces are new (they also tend to crack over time).
Extras: Clear acrylic wind blocker; center arm rest; center console parcel net; installed battery tender; space saver spare with cover and BMW jack kit; aftermarket electric air pump. I have Griot Garage wax and polishing system available. I also have Peake Research reset tool available.
Maintenance items: Fresh oil change using Castrol full synthetic 5w30, with Bosch oil filter, new air filter. Ceramic brake pads last summer, so no brake dust on the wheels. Steering rack was replaced by BMW in 2010 due to “sticky steering” issue (Look this up on the Roadfly.com e85 z4 board if you are not familiar with the issue – it occurs only in hot weather areas. The previous owner lived in Toledo, OH, and never had an issue with it.) Power top motor was replaced by BMW in 2010 also.
Car has never been tracked or raced. Owned by a non-smoker. Has been mechanically reliable, and driven easily. If you’ve never owned a roadster, you need to put this on your bucket list
