| FS: 2000 Z3 2.3 (5speed) @80,500miles Asking $10,500
2000 BMW Z3 2.3 roadster VIN #4USCH9349YLF85032 80,500miles Asking $10,500.
Side windows tinted. Soft top and rear window in good condition. The car has been parked inside garage and never parked overnight in rain.
This Z3 2.3 was purchased from my friend at 38K miles and the following maintenance and some upgrades were done to the car.
Routine and other maintenance that I have done myself.
Engine Oil/filter Change: Every 5,000miles (Redline Full Synthetic Oil 5W-40)
Manual Transmission Oil Change: Every 2 years (Redline MT oil)
Differential Gear Oil Change: Every 2 years (Redline Gear oil)
Racing Dynamics strut tower brace installed after getting the car to keep the car tight over time.
New Brake rotors: Front/ Rotra slotted and drilled rotor (@80K)
New Brake rotors: Rear /OEM rotors (@80K)
New Brake pads: Cool Carbon brake pads for both front and rear (@80K)
Break caliper guide pin bushings replaced from OEM rubber bushings to solid brass bushings (@80K)
Other maintenance and upgrades: (professionally done at All Speed Autoworks)
Stainless steel brake line for all 4 wheels (@70K)
Front control arms replaced at (@70K)
Front suspension lower control arm bushings replaced to Power Flex Urethane bushings (@70K )
Shock absorbers replaced to Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks for all 4 wheels. (@70K)
Sway Bar H & R (Front 28mm Rear 19mm) Adjustable sway bar set for softer front and stiffer rear to reduce "under steer" that comes with stiffened sway bars. (@70K)
Rear Shock mounts replaced to Meyle heavy duty mounts. (@80K)
Engine:
Water pump replaced with metal impeller pump at (@70K)
Fuel filter replaced at (@80K)
Dinan performance software (Small power gain, but great pick up and rev down response. )
Air cleaner filter: aFe Power Magna FLOW filter (@57K)
Ignition coils replace to Bavarian Autosport High-Performance Ignition Coils (@70K)
Tires: @69,500miles Yokohama S-Drive 225/50-16 installed (Had 11,500mikes on them)
The modest upgrades and maintenance aimed to keep this Z3 at about the same ride quality as OEM for comfort by keeping OEM springs, but upgraded control arm bushings and shocks for quicker turn in and reduce body roll. 2.3’s M52TU engine with OEM software is slow for engine rev. to come down, but the Dinan performance software worked a magic and while it does not provide any increase in horse power, it certainly made this smooth 6 cylinders fun to shift around corners. Interior is clean, all power seats /windows/side mirrors works. No tear or damage to both seats.
