This car has been mechanically restored by a BMW master mechanic of 38 years. Even at nearly 220,000 miles it still runs ultra smooth, with lots of overtaking power. The legendary M30B35 3.5L inline 6 engine hums like a sewing machine, and pulls like a rocket with 218 brake horsepower. These engines have been touted as one of the best engines of the 20th century. The transmission shifts smooth and precise. The entire rear suspension has been completely rebuilt with E39 parts. This gives the car an aggressive, and productive stance. This car handles better than any sedan should! Mechanically this is one of the most sound cars youll ever find for under $5000. Cosmetically, there is a bit of superficial damage on the front passenger door, and the paint is severely faded, much worse than you can tell from the pictures. The front seats are worn, but still very comfortable. The car still looks pretty nice from about 12 feet though... and nobody will be able to tell it could use paint as you pass them on the highway. :) I really dont feel the need to sell this car... it will sell itself.
