2001 BMW M5, 84,300 miles. Imola Red and Caramel interior with alcantara headliner. It is completely stock other than the 6 Disc changer was swapped out for DICE Ipod adapter. I no longer have the CD changer. I purchased the car from the wife of the 2nd owner in Olathe, KS, it was originally a Dallas car. I did all the dealings on the purchase from her deceased husbands best friend, which was a BMW owner and member for the KC chapter. They provided me with a lot of maintenance history which I still have today. Prior to purchasing the car I spoke with the dealership in Dallas where it was purchased new and did much of the maintenance and warranty work. The dealership really only did scheduled maintenance other than they did repair/replace the pixel display on the gauge cluster. There are no pixels out on the car now. When I purchased the car I knew it had a very small leak that appeared to be coming from the rear main seal. Took it to Maurice/Bavarian Auto to check it out and it was indeed the rear main seal so I had them replace the main seal. At the same time I had them put a new yoke seal at the differential, which was a common leak issue on these cars. I also had asked Maurice to let me know what the clutch looked like while he was in there, I had no clutch issues, but since he was in there figured it would be the time to look. He told me it was at approximately at 50% worn. He told me he would only charge for parts to if I wanted to replace the clutch, so I told him replace it. All that was done about 3000 miles ago. I put a new set Hankook Ventus V12 tires on the car about 1000 miles ago. I have done all the regular maintenance including oil changes, new plugs, etc since I have owned the car. The car is in great shape inside and out and runs great. I don’t know of anything it needs and the only flaws the car has is it does have road rash on the front. I was always going to have the front re-sprayed but could never get myself to leave it at a paint shop to get it done. It does also have a small scratch on the rear bumper that has been touched up but still noticeable and both fog light lens are cracked but working. The interior is in great shape but there are a couple areas that could use re-died, nothing bad and no tears or deep cracks.
