| 97 C36 AMG in excellent condition except transmission is in safe mode and only allows 2nd gear. I installed a used transmission from another C36 same year and a new valve body from Benz and vehicle still in safe mode. Took vehicle to Benz for diag. and was told vehicle either has wiring problem or needs a transmission computer.... It also needs rotors and pads all around. I have brand new OEM pads for the rear which I never got a chance to install...... Vehicle is in solid shape inside and out apart from the transmission issue. It has 134k miles. Everything is original on this vehicle except for H&R race springs which gave it a more comfortable ride and aggressive look... Selling for a low $3,000 obo because I have 2 other cars and do not have the time to work on the Benz.... U can contact Steve at 914-227-4023. |
