Just traded in our 2006 Kia Spectra on a 2007 Kia
Sorento....first Kia was fantastic for what it was, economy, handling, etc., wife just decided she needed more room for hauling mechandise with her home based business.
Her initial reaction to the Spectra was...oh, well, it's economical, but it IS just a Kia. After 3 months of driving it, she literally loved it. First small car, Lincolns before that!! No suprise!! After a year of owning it, she decided she needed a larger vehicle and would consider a Kia SUV as her first choice. How about that!! Back to the Kia dealership. First time loyalty buyer got her a $1000 rebate, about enough to offset the loss on the trade-in. In the showroom was a 2007 demo model, fuly loaded, heated leather seats(yeah, we live in Florida, really needed that. Actually good heat theraby for an aching back, though, after lifting heavy packages), tow bar and sun roof. Many luxury otions found on more pricey cars!! Demo had 4000 miles on it, and price was reduced by $5000 off sticker price. We bought it, and really, REALLY like all aspects of it. Rides and handles well, has all the toys, fuel economy not as much of a shock as we were expecting. Wife likes to trade cars every two years...I was nearly shocked when she said she could keep this one forever!!!
